Details For small lenses and for gemstones. Often, you get false readings on Moissanite if the stone is greasy. It is not good enough to wipe it on your shirt! With the better testers, use the polishing cloth (included) to wipe the stone clean, but that's not always good enough with thee cheap testers, it's best to de-grease the stone with an alcohol such as isopropyl, using a cotton wool bud or a tissue.
